Lesson Name: Brian Eliason
The Eliason Violin School carries from 40 to 45 students per month. Most lessons are 30 minutes long but some do run for 45 minutes or an hour. All levels are taught and instruction is based on the Suzuki violin method. Group recitals are given 2 or 3 times a year.

Biography
Brian Eliason has been playing violin for over 23 years. He has performed professionally with groups such as The Oregon Symphony, The Eugene Symphony, the Portland Opera and the Portland Chamber Orchestra. He has also taught violin lessons at the University of Oregon and has a degree in violin performance from the University of Utah.
Student Requirements
Students are giving a weekly time slot and are expected to show up for their time every week. Beginning students under the age of 8 are expected to practice for 25 to 30 minutes 5 days a week. Older students are expected to practice longer. The goal at the Eliason Violin School is to teach strong violin technique while at the same time keeping the learning experience positive, supportive and fun.
